The GRACE/AIDS Care Network (or ACN) is an expression of the religious community which calls forth persons and congregations in response to HIV/AIDS. Since 1987, the ACN has served individuals and families seeking pastoral care, as well as provided education and resource materials for groups and congregations. Currently, the ACN serves the greater Grand Rapids area. Since October 1997, the ACN has also recruited, educated and organized volunteers to provide direct services to people living with HIV/AIDS.

As our program evolves to meet the changing face of HIV/AIDS, we are looking for caring volunteers to be a part of the faith community's response to this pandemic. Our program has a place for you through our many services:

• Transportation for necessary appointments for clients(including medical, dental, counseling, housing and other needed services).
• Food delivery between 10:30 and 2:30 on Tuesdays andThursdays (can be done over a lunch hour!).
• Friendship support (go shopping, out for coffee, etc...)
• Congregation and community education and information resources.
• Community resource referral and advocacy for clients.
• Prevention education for African American congregations.
